The UC Davis General Catalog is the primary guiding document for the Landscape Architecture Program. The General Catalog also serves as the official record of course offerings and curriculum requirements. Prospective and admitted students also may request the Landscape Architecture Admissions Bulletin and the Landscape Architecture Checklist for Major Requirements, both available from the Department of Environmental Design Advising Office in 135 Hunt Hall. Considerable additional information about the profession of landscape architecture is available from the advising office.

Our student objectives are:

  • Engage in creative thinking that is relevant to a site and its context
  • Understand and apply the design process
  • Engage in critical thinking and analysis
  • Produce effective design communications and possess visual literacy skills
  • Employ technical skills including construction detailing and documentation
